Power unit frame to remotely operate vehicles on the sea bottom
The IHPU is a subsea hydraulic power skid which operates rigidly connected underneath a ROV. The main function of the IHPU is to provide hydraulic power in order to control subsea tooling. Fazzini Meccanica has designed many models of IHPU: here we mention some of the projects we partecipated.
- North Stream Project: the pipelines start from Portovaya Bay, near Vyborg, North of St. Petersburg (Russia), cross the Gulf of Finland and the Baltic Sea, up to a landfall area in Greifswald (Germany).
- Subsea Well Responsed Project (SWRP).
